Benzi Gopstein, founder of the Lehava organization, this morning spoke about the demand by head of Foreign Affairs and Defense committee Ram Ben Barak seeking to declare his movement ‘a terrorist organization’.
“In a developed country, there is no immunity for those who are involved in terrorism. Today I contacted Defense Minister Benny Gantz and asked him to declare that the racist organization Lehava is a terrorist organization”, wrote Ben Barak to Min. Gantz.
“It’s very sad that this is what he had to write”, said Gopstein in an interview with 103 FM.
In his words, “I fight daily against assimilation, and that’s the teaching of Rabbi Kahane. If this is a terror organization, I’m willing to be a terrorist. A democratic country can contain people who act for the sake of Am Israel.”
